Premium Dashboards + Reporting: See the Health of Your Association at a Glance

Every executive director knows the question. It arrives late in a board meeting, usually from the same member, and it sounds simple enough: how are we doing on retention this year?

The answer exists. Getting to it is the work. You pull this year's numbers, pull last year's, and line them up in a spreadsheet — so what you actually say in the room is "let me put that together and follow up." By the time you do, the meeting has moved on.

A version of this plays out on an ordinary Tuesday, too. Your finance director needs to know whether the month can close, and that answer is spread across unposted batches, installment schedules, and a handful of accounts that need attention. Nothing is missing. It's just nowhere she can see all at once.

Neither answer is hiding. Both live in Rhythm right now — in queries you can run, reports you can pull, records you can open. What you've told us, consistently, is that getting to them shouldn't take assembly first. We agree, and that's why we built Premium Dashboards + Reporting.

Introducing Premium Dashboards + Reporting

Premium Dashboards + Reporting brings the whole picture inside Rhythm. Every app gets its own configurable dashboard, and a new cross-app home dashboard pulls the highlights together the moment you log in.

A Real-Time Read on the Whole Organization

The home dashboard was built to be all signal. Membership can sit beside finance, finance beside events and fundraising, and everything on it earned its place by being something you'd want in front of you the moment you sign in.

It's also deliberately two things at once. Board-level numbers — revenue year to date, retention against last year — share the screen with the operational detail that gets you through the week, like which batches are still open and which have errors. The question your board asks once a quarter and the question you need answered before lunch can live on the same pane of glass.

And it doesn't have to be the same screen for everyone. That default is a starting point — from there, people can configure their own home dashboard around what they're actually accountable for, so your membership director signs in to renewals and your finance director signs in to receivables. Same numbers underneath, different first screen.

From a Headline Number to the Names Behind It

A number on a dashboard usually raises a second question. Which members? Which invoices? Who do I need to call?

Every tile answers it. Click into an aging bucket and you get the actual invoices, who owes what, and which ones are already partially paid. Click into a region on the membership map and you get the members. From there you can download the list and go to work — no new query, no export, no starting over.

Numbers That Match the Way You Count

No two associations count the same way, and this is where most reporting tools quietly fail. A trade association may include assigned or flow-down members in its membership total where a professional society wouldn't. "Overdue" might mean past due to one finance team and more than thirty days past due to another.

So the tiles are yours to change. Open one, adjust the criteria behind it, and the number recalculates to match your rules rather than our assumptions. Dashboards ship in variations built for professional societies, trade associations, and hybrid organizations, so nobody starts from a blank page — and your administrators decide who's allowed to change them and who simply sees the result. Our team helps you tailor them during implementation.

Answers That Arrive Where Decisions Get Made

Most of the people who need these numbers won't be the ones logging in to find them.

Any dashboard can be scheduled and delivered on a recurring basis — to your board ahead of a quarterly meeting, to a committee before it convenes — as the full visual, not a spreadsheet dump someone has to interpret. And when you'd rather be told than go looking, you can set an alert on a specific condition and hear about it when something changes.
