Every month, we like to publish a Product Roundup here at Rhythm. This is like our honorable mention award. It’s a place to recognize a few of our latest product enhancements that weren’t big enough to get an update of their own - but we still think you’d like to know about them.

At Rhythm, we believe that a great product is just as much about optimizing existing features as it is building new ones. While we’re always adding more functionality, we’re also listening to our customers and making enhancements that will give them a better experience and make their jobs easier.

We hope July’s added functionality improves your day-to-day experience and helps you offer a better one to your members, too.

Key Enhancements

💡Custom Query Types and Updated UI

We rolled out a couple of new updates to Queries in July.

First, you can now configure your own custom Query Types to get the most out of your data. If the pre-joined datasets aren’t giving you everything you need to have a granular understanding of what’s going on in your association, custom Query Types can help.

In the System and Securities app, navigate to Queries > Custom. If you need help, the Rhythm team is always here. Current Rhythm customers should contact Support for assistance in setup.

One more update: You’ll notice a refreshed UI in the Queries Editor, where the Criteria and Fields section have been merged into a single pane. It’s a small change that offers a more streamlined and easy-to-navigate interface. Enjoy!

💡Key Contact Roles

Rhythm now supports Key Contact Roles, which will be visible (and clickable) on an organization’s 360 screen.

Often, an association wants to be able to clearly see who is in certain roles in the organization, without navigating through a huge list that includes everyone from the Primary Contact to every General Member.

Define your Key Contact roles in the setup for Organization Type, and they’ll begin displaying immediately in the organization record. Don’t waste any more time fishing through all the different contact roles in an organization - define which ones are most important and enjoy easy access to that information in the future.

💡Public Links for Portal Assets

You can now get a public link for portal assets that can be used anywhere on the internet. Just upload your assets in the Portals and Microsites app, then click “Get Shareable Link”.

This new feature easily lets you generate a link associated with an image, so instead of uploading the file over and over again across the web, you can just paste the link. It’s not magic, but it's close.
