TELL US ABOUT YOUR RHYTHM EXPERIENCE

What made you want to work here?
I was so impressed by how many processes were already established. It was clear that the Rhythm team was passionate about helping associations and they had a vision for where they were going and how they were going to get there.

What does a day in your current role look like?
It's a little hectic right now, but also very rewarding. I spend a lot of time communicating with customers via phone or email, delegating tasks, resolving roadblocks, and keeping projects on schedule.

I always tell customers I’m their cruise director. I keep our teams aligned and make sure we are all headed in the right direction, together.

What do you enjoy most about being a Sr. Implementation Project Manager?
It’s so rewarding to connect with the customer team and make them happy. When I can see that I have their trust and they’re excited about what’s to come despite the difficult work we are doing, I know I’m doing my job well.

Which Rhythm core value do you connect with the most?
I’d have to say it's a mix between Customer Focused and World-Class Team. At the end of the day, customers are the reason we’re here, and I appreciate Rhythm’s orientation toward creating customer joy.

And it’s so much easier to make those customers happy when I work with a world-class team that’s committed to that same goal. I work with a group of outstanding people that are all in, and it makes all the difference.

How have you grown professionally since joining the team?
Rhythm has given me a great opportunity to better connect with and trust my coworkers. Over the past year, I’ve learned how to best help them and rely on them. It’s not a one-person show here, and it's nice to be able to recognize that and lean on my team when I need to.

What’s an accomplishment you’re proud of?
I love getting customers launched. Implementation is a lot of work, but it’s so rewarding to see them live and using our product. I’m always so proud when customers get to see the fruits of their labor and enjoy their new system!

TELL US A LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOURSELF

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Never travel to someplace like it's the last time you’re going to be there.”

Basically — don’t try to cram so many activities into your time that you forget to enjoy the experience. Prioritize one important thing a day, and move at your own pace.

What are some of your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
Definitely travel and great food. Scratching my cat’s belly. Tai Chi. Scuba diving.

I also put my project management skills into practice by volunteering to run my neighborhood’s Chomp ‘N Stomp fall festival each year!

What’s something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m a huge fan of the English Premier League.

If you could meet a fictional character in real life, who would it be and why?
I’d meet Dr. Who. I love to travel and enjoy a bit of adventure.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d do?
In line with my love for travel, I’d book plane tickets! I’d probably go somewhere farther away from the U.S. and book a longer flight in first class.

What song would be on the soundtrack of your life?
Summertime Rolls by Jane's Addiction.
