September 2022 Product Roundup

They say small, daily choices create a substantial long-term impact.

We take a similar approach at Rhythm — we know that smaller, frequent updates will allow us to build a best-in-class product over time. We don’t believe in waiting to create helpful functionality for customers “just because.”

Instead, we’re constantly asking how we can maintain, enhance, and improve the Rhythm platform.

This monthly roundup is your chance to get a sneak peek at what’s new and see how we’ve been making the product better, just for you!

Key Enhancements

💡 Edit Membership Defferal Schedules in the Console

Being able to keep track of deferred revenue is essential to ensuring all of your association’s financial details are in order. By navigating to the “Deferrals” tab on an organizational or contact membership record, you can easily see any existing deferred revenue — and even edit it manually, if needed. This way, you can keep track of any changes in the deferral schedule. Feel good about your accounting records and update the details as needed with this new feature enhancement!

💡 Activate Membership Communications After an Invoice Has Been Paid

It’s always a smart idea to let new members know when their benefits have been activated. Depending on your association’s processes, you may want this notification to be sent after a certain action. By default, communication is sent out once an application and approval process is completed. We’ve added a new option in the Membership Application Process setup that will allow you to delay the membership activation email until the outstanding invoice has actually been paid. Here’s one more way you can create a tailored, more seamless onboarding experience for new members.✨

Additional Enhancements

  • We’ve added a new calculated field for “Continent,” so a member only has to input their country of residence — and Rhythm will auto-populate their continent. By automating parts of the data entry process, you can create a more seamless member experience and maintain the integrity of your data.
  • Users can now add invoices to a payment using the Invoice Number, which is an easier, more seamless experience than using the Invoice ID.
