Take Action With Your Data Through the Rhythm + AWS EventBridge Integration

As associations grow and become more tech-savvy, they’re always looking for ways to engage with their data. Oftentimes, this results in building custom integrations as a way to get the data out of your AMS and into another platform you use.

Introducing the Rhythm + AWS EventBridge integration – a powerful way to take action with the data hosted in Rhythm by harnessing the power of AWS services.

With the AWS EventBridge integration, you can now be notified when an event happens in Rhythm and sit back as the data gets pushed into your AWS account. An event inside of Rhythm is anytime a user takes action within the platform – think a member signing up for an event, paying their dues, buying something from your online store, or even a staff member downloading a batch. Then, you can take action in AWS and use your data in any of AWS’ services – archive it, put it into another database, send an SMS message to a member, and so much more.

Here’s a sneak peek of how the integration works:

  • With this integration, customers can take advantage of AWS’ extensive services using their data from Rhythm
  • Subscribe to events in Rhythm to choose which instances you want to be sent over to your AWS account
  • Easier integration building through real-time streams of data
Instant data-sharing

With the Rhythm + AWS EventBridge integration, it’s easy to subscribe to events (or actions within Rhythm) and watch as they automatically get pushed over to your AWS account.

For example, when a batch export is downloaded, you can receive that batch information directly into AWS. Then, you can archive it, make it reportable, push it into third-party systems, and so much more.

Easier integration building

One of the most common use cases for building integrations is figuring out what has just happened inside of your system and taking action. Normally, you’d have to build a pull mechanism to pull the data out of the system in order to take action.

Think of the AWS EventBridge plugin as a built-in push mechanism. Now, when events occur within Rhythm, you can subscribe to the ones you need and watch as they automatically get pushed over to your AWS account in real-time – making custom integration building and developing that much easier.

For the tech-savvy customers, who want to take action with their data, this ones for you.
