TELL US ABOUT YOUR RHYTHM EXPERIENCE

What made you want to work here?
It’s always been a goal of mine to work for a startup, and I was especially interested in the tech space. I enjoy the challenge of complex problems, and I had a feeling that finding the right solutions for customers would bring me a lot of satisfaction - and it does.

My interest peaked significantly when I began interviewing at Rhythm. As I met more team members and learned more about the role, I knew it was where I wanted to be.

What does a day in your current role look like?
No day is the same. Every day challenges me to bring my best self to the table and be ready for anything.

I spend some time doing technical work like triaging customer requests, but I also help strategize and develop the vision for what we want our team and the customer experience at Rhythm to look like.

What do you enjoy most about being a Senior Product Specialist?
Can I say all of it? I love that this role allows me to use my problem-solving and critical thinking skills very frequently.

If I had to choose though, I’d say getting to work with our amazing team every single day is the best part.

Which Rhythm core value do you connect with the most?
World Class Team - hands down! I would not be here without the amazing guidance of the entire Rhythm team. They truly embody what it means to work with a diverse group of helpers, innovators, and creators who love making a positive difference.

How have you grown professionally since joining the team?
Since joining the team, I’ve been challenged on a daily basis to be the best version of myself.

I have the opportunity to communicate well, be an advocate for myself and our team, and think of Rhythm’s processes and platform from both a product and a customer perspective.

What’s an accomplishment you’re proud of?
During my time at Rhythm, I’ve helped lay the foundation for the Customer Experience department and been able to champion what great support here looks like.

I am grateful for a company and a team that trust me to help make things happen for our customers.

TELL US A LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOURSELF

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The secret to life is not minding.

Not in a careless manner, but by deeply understanding that things are constantly in motion and always changing. I’m learning to accept that and be at peace moving towards what best fits for me in any given season of life.

What are some of your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
I love reading, hiking, listening to music, landscape photography and experiencing different restaurants. Admittedly, I’m a bit of a nerd!  I’ve also recently become hooked on Diamond Painting, which is similar to painting by numbers but uses symbols and little stones instead. It’s so precise but also so relaxing, especially with the right tunes playing.

What’s something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
I learned to fly an airplane before I learned how to drive a car.

If you could meet a fictional character in real life, who would it be and why?
I’d love to sit down and learn from Alexander Hamilton. Although he’s not technically fictional, I’m so inspired by how he wrote his way out of what he was and into what he became. He changed his own life through his writing and being himself, regardless of what other people thought - and that really speaks to my soul.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d do?
The absolute first thing would be to scream or wipe my eyes to make sure I was seeing the numbers right. Then, I would put together a plan for how I’m going to divvy up the money and go make my claim.

What song would be on the soundtrack of your life?
The Girl from Ipanema by Frank Sinatra.
